Photographers!!! Of course you can use any of our costumes for portraits! So why this special section for portrait clothing? Because, these costumes were created with portrait studios in mind. And here is how:

They are able to fit as wide a variety of sizes as one can humanly make.
They are the best quality that you can get for the price anywhere!!
The fairy costumes are interchangeable, so you can build up a collection over time and mix and match to your satisfaction.

I will do ANY custom project that you can dream up. If I don't have it listed in the section, it doesn't mean I can't or won't make it, it means that I haven't gotten around making it yet, or I haven't got pictures of it. It is my goal to offer real clothing quality items for portraiture use. Some items that I have made, am working on and/or thinking about making are:

Winter hats, capes, cloaks, muffs. Santa babies. Baby buntings or wraps, like cocoons or romantic Victorian lace
Little boy pixies or lost boys, pirates, archer, Peter Pan, Robin Hood, knights.
More Princess costumes, and Fairy tale Characters, like Rapunzel, Cinderella, Snow White, etc.

We have a new category of costumes especially designed with photographers in mind. Our portrait clothing is made to fit a wide range of sizes. I love making costumes. But I especially love making dress-up clothes for fairies. Here you will find Renaissance and Medieval garb that I have made as well as some custom movie costumes. Medieval

The Medieval time, roughly 11th through the 13th centuries, was a time of social difference. The lines between the classes were clearly defined in the activities as well as the dress of the people. Peasant clothing was quite simple and utilitarian, while the nobility enjoyed elaborate decorations. We strive to make our Medieval costumes are as historically accurate as we can be and still use a sewing machine.

This is one of my favorite eras, as if you couldn't tell by the names of my fairy wings. :) LOL! I don't make many costumes in this era. Probably because there are many widely available fantasy styled versions out there. But, if you should find yourself wanting a more authentic Greek or Roman costume that you can wear without fear of it falling apart, then these may be for you. Wedding Gowns

We treat our brides with the special attention that they deserve. Your wedding is a very special day and as such you should be the center of it all. So I give my full attention to making this stage of your planning go smoothly. I also put more work and careful detailing into my wedding dresses. Every gown we make is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. Your gown will be fully lined for single layer gowns and bodice lined for 2 or more layered gowns.

Since you will want plenty of time to receive your gown and adjust if for alterations, please order early, even as much as 6 months in advance is not too long. We will need a lot of time for mailing samples and refining the design.

INFANT SIZE FAIRY WINGS are for ages up to 24 months.
SMALL SIZE FAIRY WINGS are for ages 1 and up. They are small enough to be worn by flower girls and large enough for adults to wear for a more subtle look or for a lively or crowded activity.
Longest wing length is from 14" - 16" from frame to tip
MEDIUM SIZE FAIRY WINGS are more appropriate for ages 4 and up. They are just right for children and adults alike. In fact, they are the size equivalent of most other wing makers large wings.
Longest wing length is from 20"-22" from frame to tip
LARGE SIZE FAIRY WINGS are recommended to be worn mainly by adults, teens or tweens. Some of them are very big and some are obnoxiously big. Photographers could successfully use them as props for younger children in portrait photography, starting at around age 5 or 6, but any younger than that and these will be too overwhelming.

Cellophane Wings

Photographers love the way these photograph. They are iridescent, shiny, catch the light very well, and show up beautifully on film. They are more realistic looking than the fabric wings, appearing more transparent at times and just more iridescent. However, I'm not going to lie to you or deceive you in any way about these. These wings are made out of plastic cellophane They are not of the same high-quality as my fabric wings. There are multiple layers fused together which makes them pretty strong and fairly hard to tear. The veins and outlines are hand painted and the wire frames will still be covered in ribbon. I will promise that they will be just as well made or better made than any other wing maker selling cellophane wings.

Fairy Ear Tips - costume ears

The costume ear tips all come with a generous supply of spirit gum. 1/4 oz. It may not sound like a lot, but a little goes a long way. Trust me.
